The Suicide Bomber is an action thriller written in the best tradition, a real page
turner and impossible to put down. What makes this book even more interesting is
that the manuscript was completed in January 2005 and then the book's plot became
a reality in the horrendous events July 7th in London. The reader follows the journey
of a white, middle-class twenty year old university student who becomes interested
in finding out more about Islam just after the 9/11 attacks in the US. His interest
leads him to conversion to Islam and his conversion then leads him to radicalism.
Tom Collins, a veteran MI5 operative, is the recipient of a anonymous letter telling
of an imminent plot by Islamic extremists to blow up six London Underground stations
within days. He doesn't have much to go on but somehow he must find out who and where
the plotters are and neutralise them.... and fast.
